| "Cosette" was purchased as a kid from Winterwood to be a foundation animal for our beginning LaMancha herd. She had a 3,000 lb. plus lactation last year and is on track for another this year. She has two milking legs and was shown only once this year at the Los Angeles County Fair She was 2nd place 2-year-old with 2nd place udder in a very large competitive class. She is the dam of our "Black Tweed" doe. We now have 3 XL daughters in the herd. We admire their will to milk, as well as their correct rear feet and legs in particular. We think they will be great brood does as well, if "Black Tweed" is an indication. |
